Governing Board Committees

The Academic Committee’s role is to monitor the growth and achievement of our students and drive board oversight of the academic programming.

BIA Academic committee meetings are conducted virtually, zoom logins are available on the meeting agenda.  Unless otherwise posted BIA Academic Committee Meeting is at 1pm.

The Finance Committee monitors the school’s expenditures to ensure that our spending is in line with the annual budget.

On October 2, 2025 at 1:30pm the Operations and Finance Committee will be meeting jointly.  The zoom link is https://meet.google.com/nxu-eomz-hcd, the public is invited to attend.

Finance Committee Meetings

The Governance Committee ensures that the Board itself is operating in compliance with both SCSC (State Charter Schools Commission) regulations and Georgia Law.

Chair: Adam Caskey, ex-officio

The Operations Committee serves as a checkpoint to make sure the school is in compliance with all state regulations and reporting requirements. Operations Committee meetings are conducted virtually, the Zoom login is available on the meeting agenda.  Unless otherwise posted the Operations Committee meets at 1:30pm.
