DESCRIPTION:IAAF 5K\nWhen: Sat\, June 8\n\nOnce again the Arby’s Foundation has chosen us as recipients\, so we really need to show how much we value their donation by signing up for this year’s IAAF 5K (I Am a Father 5K)\, which will be held on Saturday\, June 8\, 2024. We are asking all BIA stakeholders to register. And it would be great to have a great showing at the walk\, as well. (Even if you don’t walk\, you will receive a t-shirt and commemorative 10th Anniversary medal). Last year\, Mr. Christian was called to the stage to receive the generous $7\,000 donation. This year\, we know we will once again be receiving a monetary donation\, which will directly benefit the teaching and learning at BIA! It would be great to have as many BIA stakeholders present to show our appreciation and support for this organization and event! \nThis year’s race also coincides with David Manuel’s 10th year as a recipient of a transplant\, so he is super excited about the event. For those that were here last year\, he came and spoke to us in the cafeteria about his journey. \nMr. Christian has created a team called “Team BIA” and would love for you all BIA stakeholders to join him in participating in the 5K. The cost is $30\, and you will receive a t-shirt\, a medal\, and a goodie bag full of healthy items. I hope you can join\, but if not\, consider donating to this worthy cause that in turn supports BIA! \nTo register for the 5K click here!
